Homesteading

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" (Jeremiah 32:27)
"For we walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)
Psalms 27: 1- 4
The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?
When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.
Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, In {spite of} this I shall be confident.
One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD And to meditate in His temple

Today I will of some photos of the house. It only looks remote we are really just about 15 minutes from anywhere. Dave has done some trimming and weed whacking. There is poison ivy EVERYWHERE. We have encountered some strange bugs and the occasional snack. It’s a toss up of which one is more unnerving. At least so far the snacks have kept themselves outside – can’t say the same for the bugs!

New news; I have become a Mary Kay consultant! WOOO WHOOO! Any Make-up/ skin care needs out there?? We should talk!

Grace Mercy and Love

Psalm 20
May The LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! May he send you help from the sanctuary and give you support from Zion! May he remember all your offerings and regard with favor your burnt sacrifices! Selah. May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans! May we shout for joy over your salvation and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions! Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright. O LORD, save the king! May he answer us when we call!

Two nights ago Grace handed me the Bible and asked me to read. This is what I read. Now I am not one of those people who open up the Bible a immediately believe God is speaking directly to me but in this instance, because the message was so profound to what I am going through, I think He might have had a word for me. I have a wonderful friend who tells me to look in the mirror and know that God loves me; not just a little bit – He’s CRAZY in love with me. He loves me from the tip of my toes to the very top of my head despite my flaws and manic moments. God LOVES me! He has blessed me beyond measure – certainly more than I deserve and patiently tutors me with loving, albeit firm, kindness.
